Email not working correctly... why? Fix?

i'm very frustrated...

i've set up a new email address and then when trying to test it, it appears i cannot send directly to it, as in, the message is not rec'd [using webmail]. however, if i send a note FROM the new address [using webmail] it get's rec'd by my personal POP and moreover, if i 'reply' the message goes through just fine.

what's the deal?

by the way, i've got no spam filtering active.

I'm guessing you don't own the server. Presuming that's correct, you'd have to ask your hosting company to investigate.

If I'm wrong, and you do own the server, start by checking the mail logs to see if the mail is being received and if so what's happening to it.

My guess is your dns is not hosted on this server and your mx record is wrong for this domain.
