Email rejected when have forwarder

When we adds a redirect (forwarder) to one email, email stops receiving messages, they bounce with the error: 550 No such recipient here

Looking at the exim log I find this:

2023-12-07 12:06:02 H=mail-oo1-f54.google.com [209.85.161.54] X=TLS1.3:TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384:256 CV=no F=<[email protected]> rejected RCPT <[email protected]>

Forwarder is redirected to an email account.

Maybe I'm not quite understanding what you mean, but this seems a clear message.
When I see the response you get directly from goole I see:

rejected RCPT <[email protected]>

The receiver should be that @grupXXX.cl domain but .cl is not a gmail tld, so that might explain things.

If you have some Gmail group account or something so Google can handle all mail, then probably some configuration mistake is made there as Google does not see the receiver address.
