email sends, doesnt receive (domain's default email only)
Hello
I tried doing a search before posting this but couldn't find the same error I get.
I have 2 domains (names changed) hosted on my server with DirectAdmin.
user: admin
domain: firstdomain.com
email: [email protected]
user: domain2
domain: domain2.com
email: [email protected]
The emails are the defaults created with the account. [email protected] sends and receives just fine. But [email protected] has mail returned to me with an error:
This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its

So by looking at that it looks like when people send email to [email protected] it tries to send it to [email protected] for some reason. [email protected] is the default email created with that account. [email protected] does not even exist.
So as a test what I did was create a new email address [email protected] and it will send and receive email fine. It only affects the default-created email, so I have no idea what the problem is. I have not setup any forwarders or catch-alls or anything.
Anyone know what the issue is?
Thank you for your help
