Email Server Question

Hi - How can I use Ensim as an Email Server for sending out and receive email.

Although Ive directadmin control panel but I wanted to use DA on a diff machine so I can only host webistes there.

What I want is - I wanted to host abc.com on a my DirectAdmin Server and have my email hosted on my Ensim Server so I will have some good Virus and Spam scanning done. For instance if anyone sends an email to [email protected] - I want that email to first goto my Ensim Server for Virus and Spam processing and than deleivered to my Inbox.

I will really appreciate if anyone could answer this .

Set up your account on both servers. I have no idea how to set up an account for email only on an ensim server.

To tell DirectAdmin to let a different server act as the email server you need to do the following:

1) use the nameservers on DirectAdmin.

2) change the DNS records for the domain for pop and mail, to the IP# of the ensim server.

3) In the "MX Records" section from the user control panel, uncheck "Use this server to handle my emails." and click on "Save".
