Hello
we limit every user of directadmin to 500 email sent per day.
but now we get error message.
user send 7450 email ?!
Please help me.
HTML:
There have been 7450 outgoing emails yesterday from the xxxxxx User account.
There could be a spammer, the account could be compromised, or just sending more emails than usual.

This warning was generated because the 500 email threshold was passed.

Alex (or anyone):

Do you know what changes need to be made to my SpamBlocker 4 file to resolve this issue, along with exim.pl version 17?

Thanks.

Jeff

Jeff,

Actually I think the version of exim.pl is either outdated or modified by someone. I don't see any other reasons of why someone was able to pass the limit.

Your version of exim.conf has a call to exim.pl, so I guess it should work fine. What issues do you face there?

I still need to make sure I'm running exim.pl on all my servers, but I've noticed some of our dedicated servers still check # emails sent only before sending the email, not before sending it to eadh address, so if, for example, you set for 1 daily email limit, and the spammer tries 50 outgoing addresses per recipient line (To: field) server sends 51 emails before it won't send anymore.

I'm going to ask John if he'd be kind enugh to compare my file with the features of his latest exim.pl.

Thanks.

Jeff
