Emailproblem after restore

Hi,

I restored an account. This account has only a catchall adress which points to an emailaddress on another domain. This doesn't work anymore. My exim log shows the following errors

Any clue on what is wrong??

The first error message is quite descriptive. The file it's trying to open has the wrong permissions.

Set up a similar configuration on another site (perhaps a test site you create for the future) and compare the file permissions.

Difference between this account and all other accounts is it has /etc/virtual/domain.com/majordomo directory, which is empty.
Other accounts don't have this directory. The account with the error has no mailinglists

Update, mails sent to this mailaccount which doesn't work get bounced by exim with the following message

The address to which the message has not yet been delivered is:

[email protected]
Delay reason: failed to open /etc/virtual/domain.com/majordomo/list.aliases for linear search:
Permission denied (euid=8 egid=12)

Hey,

Since you say that domain/account doesn't have any mailing lists, I'd think it would be worth a try at removing the "majordomo" directory under that domain and see what happens.

The directory is empty anyway...

This worked. Really strange but I'm extremely happy
