Emails from Message System

In my opinion, it would be great if there was a chance to choose what kind of emails to receive from the "Message System". Right now it sends all the bruteforce messages, disk space warnings, etc. I would love to be able to filter out all the bruteforce messages as I get hundreds of them all the time and just don't care - CSF takes care of these. Instead, I would only want to receive messages regarding disk space usage. Namely - when it the space is running low. So, is there a chance to select what kind of messages I receive, and if not - would DA staff be so kind and implement something like that?

Thank you

I believe what the poster would like to do is shut off brute-force messages but still get the advantages of brute force monitor.

I vaguely remember there may be a way to do that, but if not you may be able to use the Spam Filter from the user login of DirectAdmin.

Ust the Block all e-mail containing the word: setting and block something that's specific only to Brute Force attacks. Note this may be overkill for you; if you don't choose carefully you may block other email references you really want to get.

You can also use local email filtering or serverwide sieve filotering to block based on more sophisticated content checks.

Hello,

Please check this:

There are several options and levels to suppress the messages.

1) To suppress all messages and E-Mails entirely (you won't be told about these attacks), while DA will still monitor and call theblock_ip.sh (if present):

2) If you want to hide the messages from the "Message System", but continue to be notified via E-Mail:

3) If you want to send the high-volume attack E-Mails to some different address, like [email protected], you can add a user.conf variable:
