Enable auto ssl

I'm a new DA user so please tolerate me.
Version: 1.644 installed with auto OS detect.

I am trying to use the DA auto SSL function. When using the terminal within DA I get permission denied for everything on this page: https://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=2147 except the CD function.

SSL was enabled after the install and DA was not manually rebooted.

Should I follow those directions above as root using putty?

Or is there something I am missing?

Hello,

The shell commands should be executed by root. You might gain root privileges in a directadmin terminal using su or sudo. Or use putty.
