Enabling front page extension

I have a client that can't seem to enable front page extensions on her second domain. I've tried to replicate the error under a dummy account I created with no success. The error is:

Error setting up your web: Starting install, port: 80. Error: Cannot create folder "_vti_pvt".

Any Ideas on this?

Usually it's a permissions error somewhere in the directories path.

If removing and readding FPX doesn't resolve the issue, then check all the permissions and ownerships carefully between a domain setup that works and one that doesn't.

If none of that works, try backing up the site, then removing the user from DA, then add the user back and restore the site.

(Don't forget to move the backup out of the userpsace or it'll get deleted when the user is removed.)
