greetings to all in this my first post:

I have a problem is that when I try to create a new database from DirectAdmin gives me the following error:

Error creating the database

Details

Unable to create database xxxxx_yyyyy. Can not create database 'xxxxx_yyyyy' (errno: 28)

What can be causing this error? I read that it could be due to lack of space on the server, but it is not the case as I used one of the five databases available and used space I have available 1000 1.53 Mb.

If you manage your own DirectAdmin-based server, then zEitEr's instructions will help you.

But if you're a cutomer of a hosting company using DirectAdmin as their control panel, then you'll need to get support for your hosting company, as only they will have access to the information they need to fix this.

to me is simple :)
you ran out of space in your hosing account, if you are at max or close, then DA wont allow you to create anything else that has to do with space, no matter if you had 100 databases available, if the 1st db and associated files consumed that space, then no more can be added,
as Jeff pointed out, talk to you hosting company to increase your available space and all will be solved :)
