I was trying to access MySQL Management to create a database but I encountered the following:

Error connecting to MySQL: Access denied for user 'da_admin'@'localhost' (using password: NO)
Repair guide: http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=45
Cannot find passwd value from the mysql.conf. Ensure it's present, and each line ends with a newline character.
Check the file: /usr/local/directadmin/conf/mysql.conf

It was then that I realised that there were several error messages for my daily admin backups as well. The error messages are similar to the above.

My server management guys are scratching their heads as well as it appears to be a recurring issue even after resetting the MySQL password. Thus, I decided to check with the DirectAdmin community for some help. The issue is crippling as I am unable to create any new DB at the moment.

My server admin tried that already. It did not work and is recurring so I decided to ask the community instead.
