I had backed up a user but it have an error:

sr what's connecting? I can connect to mysql by command

Check the file /usr/local/directadmin/conf/mysql.conf make sure its not corrupted. Also make sure it ends with a newline.

Also delete /root/.my.cnf if it exists.
