error message

i tried updating my site, and now i get this message:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Hello,

Make sure you are uploading your files to the public_html directory. If you can't find it, enter the domains folder, then the domain.com folder, then the public_html folder.

Also, make sure at least one of your files has the name index.* (e.g. index.php or index.html) so the webserver knows what to display first.
