Error: Too many connections

hi everyone,I'm the newbie for Directadmin...(and allow me my english not very well)
I discover a important problem on my server,that about MYSQL..
The other day..my friend told me that means the MYSQL usually said "Error: Too many connections¡@Errno.: 1040"
But I sure that not really too much connections...
and other user..also have this problem...but the forum only 1x or 2x members online,other web site is also very few for using...ex:the photo album just only serveral users online...
Also appear this error....

I already update the MYSQL 4.018 (sith just 3.X)
but...also have the Error....

But I refresh serveral times..It can work...
or...wait a few....it can work...before long the Error is appear again...

Please...teach me.... thank you.. for help!

Try logging into phpmyadmin with the da_admin account.
password can be found at /usr/local/directadmin/conf/mysql.conf
And take a look at the priveleges and see if there is any limit on the number of connections on the affected accounts. If its serverwide, I have a feeling its in the config file and it accidentally got set. Take a look at it and if you find that directive increase the number as high as you need it although not more than you know your server can handle.

It should be my.cnf
Its location varies since mysql looks in many places for it, but its usually /etc/my.cnf
