Hi, so while facing another issue i was trying to backup the users in DA.
Now i've signed in as the user and created an backup. Sadly by all users this error comes:
mysqldump error output: mysqldump: Got error: 2002: "Can't connect to local server through socket '/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)" when trying to connect

This on all the databases that it's trying to backup.

Running:
DA 1.660
OS: Ubuntu 22.04

Who can help me?
 
Might be something unexpected (mailutils) maybe.

This post is to help others who are facing an error

Code: 
ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local server through socket '/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)

and I can reproduce this with new DA installation:

I'm using mariadb and after that, I accidentally installed mailutils package in Debian 11 like this:

Code: 
apt install mailutils

and this package has dependencies of mariadb-common and mysql-common like the following:

The following additional packages will be installed:
  gsasl-common guile-2.2-libs libgc1 libgsasl7 libidn11 libmailutils7 libmariadb3 libntlm0
  mailutils-common...

Hi, so i've haven't installed Mailutils.

I double checked it with "apt purge mailutils" and it found nothing.
Edit, i've found those "common" packages. After removing it it works again! Thanks!
