Errors creating and deleting subdomains

I have Installatron and have had it for quite a while (over a year). I have had no problems with it. However, tonight was the first time I have ever deleted more than one installation at a time.

After I deleted the installations from within Installatron, I went and removed the subdomains. Removing the subdomains caused the following error:

Code:
Error removing subdomain(s)

Details

prod: A component of the path file_name does not exist, or the path is an empty string.

I thenk went to create a new subdomain for a new installation and I got the following error:
Code:
Unable to create subdomain

Details

Error creating /home/username/domains/domain.com/private_html/prod
A directory component in /home/username/domains/domain.com/private_html/prod does not exist or is a dangling symbolic link

I tried to create the subdomain "prod" but it isn't working. It shows in the list of subdomains. It shows in the directory structure. It doesn't work when going to prod.domain.com

It does work going to domain.com/prod

I know that it takes time to propagate but I haven't had a problem accessing it before, right after creating it. At least not to install an installatron script.

Can anyone tell me why I'm getting these errors or what I can do to fix them?

Can you delete subdomains without a problem, and recreate them, if Installatron isn't involved? If so, then this is a problem for Installatron support.

Installatron doesn create or delete subdomains at all.

The subdomain I created last night is now working, it must have been slower propagating.

The error messages I got above were when I was creating and deleting subdomains manually. For some reason, it is giving me error messages, but it is still correctly creating and deleting them.

Any ideas on how to fix the error messages?

I thought the problem was with deleting a subdomain after Installatron had installed something inside it, and was wondering if Installatron had left something that DirectAdmin's routines didn't like.

I'm sorry if I misunderstood.

No worries... It's hard to explain stuff sometimes on forums.

Any ideas on the error messages?
