ethernet_dev reverts back itself

Hi. Iv'e used network bonding for my eth0 and eth1 ports and the bonded device name is "bond0". I changed the directadmin.conf file "ethernet_dev=bond0" and everything is OK. But after some days it reverts back to "ethernet_dev=eth0" by itself and the users can't login to directadmin and i should again change it to "bond0" to make it work. Why is this happening ?!

Just a wild guess: Did you restart DirectAdmin after adding ethernet_dev=bond0 to directadmin.conf? If not, maybe that is the reason.

No I didn't restart and now after some days again i checked the directadmin.conf and the device is changed to eth0.

Ok. You must always restart DirectAdmin after making changes to directadmin.conf - I would guess that is the reason for your trouble. Please try again, this time restarting DirectAdmin after making the change.
