Hi all!
Im currently co-located at a dutch datacenter and the datacenters offers me SMS Monitoring. this means i get a text-message whenever a service goes down. however, there is one big disadvantage on all this, the syslog. it shows this ip like 10000 times and it makes the log hard for me to read and much bigger then is needed.
So my question was, is it possible to exclude a IP from appearing into the following ( or more ) log files? i know there is a way to edit the way syslog is logging stuff, but i can't find how to do it... :
/var/log/messages
/var/log/proftpd/*
/var/log/exim/*
/var/log/maillog
/var/log/directadmin/*
/var/log/secure
Thanks in advance!
