exif functions on php 5 and apache 2

since i installed php 5 with apache 2, the exif functions is don't work any more.

i installed php 5 with --enable-exif.

i have linux server.. with directadmin

please help.. is very important

How did you install php5? As a module or as cgi?

i installed apache 2 with customapache, after,i simply downloaded php 5 and installed..

I'm not sure what that has to do with DirectAdmin; so rather than moving this thread to Off-topic Discussion I'll reply by forum PM.

custombuild has much better support for various versions of apache/php. You should probably switch to custombuild; instructions are on these forums.

Installing PHP separately won't properly integrate it into Apache; you should probably use instructions on these forums to learn how to do an integrated installation using custombuild.
