my exim won't start!
it said...
"error while loading shared libraries: libdb-4.5.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

I'm using fedora 9 and I can not find libdb-4.5.so in my computer but I find that I have libdb-4.6.so ...

Anyone know how to fix it? Thanks~

ok, I have fix it...
I have copy the file and rename it ...
it can start exim now...but it can't send e-mail by squirrelmail
I can telnet to port 25 and send e-mail to local user
(that is I can send to [email protected] using telnet and receive it by squirrelmail)
but it can not send out to outside let say gmail
don't know why...

squirrelmail can not send any e-mail nometter it is local or what
telnet to port 25, it can send e-mail to local account only

It will probably take less time to just rebuild the server than to try to fix all the problems. Make sure the license file matches the OS you are using.

OK~
now squirrelmail can send e-mail to local user also
That is e-mail fully work within the same server...
but can not send e-mail to outside
like I send a e-mail to a gmail account, it will keep in the queue...but never send out

I have not set the DNS yet, that is I'm still using the ip to access my server...and the host name "server.myserver.com" is not the real domain...will this cause the problem of can't send out e-mail to outside?

My firewall do not have any rules will it block all package or allow all package? Will it be the firewall problem?
