EXIM.conf I messed up

ok DA form guys, laugh... giggle, and laugh some more... cause this one is sheer stupidity !

MAJOR DILEMMA !!

I was installing spam assassin this evening on the server, do so far everything was going smooth and nice...

UNTIL

root> emacs exim.conf

Somehow, god i am not sure to this instant how this happened, i think my fat fingers got in the way... but...

i overwrote the exisintg exim.conf, and the backup !!!!

Next, i guess in my frantic daze of glory.... i overwrote the blank file with one that needed to be configured from our friend at nobaloney.net !

Normally i am sure this one is awesome, but in this instance my e-mail is DEAD IN THE WATER !!

any idea's ??????????????

if i am right, heres the default exim.conf:
wget -O /etc/exim.conf http://files.directadmin.com/services/exim4.conf

Use search option in DA next time:

I'm surprised to find this old exim4.conf file still posted, as it's no longer being distributed by DA.

I'll bring this to their attention.

I'll remove the exim4.conf file and create a symlink to the new one.

I appreciate all the work you all have done for me, i did get it up last night after a little futility...

Jeff was great, he helped me out a lot doing this... since I am a unix novice, and working hard to improve that situation... it was great to have his help.

I would like to get spamassassin installed, but since last night was a very late one i will tackle that tommorow... not tonight!

You got it... that counfounded footer !!! I am actually on my yearly leave right now, and should be back there by the end of the year though.

So my brain get's stumped on things... especially when they are outside of routing tables !! LOL
