Yes, I know, you've seen this a thousand times and it's all over google but my question is different.

I have, literally, done 4 tutorials all 100% accurately for exim4. By default it seems some standard base version of Exim comes with DirectAdmin. So Installing exim4 was pointless since there was already exim on the system, so it seems.

My configuration file is barely modified, only to allow Spam Assasin.

I own the server and this is not on a shared hosting plan.

Don't tell me to add "daemon_smtp_ports = 25 : 587", it's there already.

I have followed these tutorials for exim4:
http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=16
http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=51
http://www.nobaloney.net/downloads/...ocker2/ReadMe.SpamBlocker.exim.conf.2.1.1.txt

Someone please help me I have clients waiting on e-mails!

Do you have a firewall? And if so, do you have ports 25 and 587 open? Where is that message coming from? Is that a webmail client and PC email client,... If it is from a PC or somewhere external to your host, then it could be your ISP blocking port 25, it is very common now, that is why we configure another port (587) to use.
