exim huge loads, how to block external smtp?

i have huge loads from exim on 3 servers

how can i block all external smtp connections?
(except those from php mail, webmail, etc)

That would defeat the purpose of having a mail server.

Perhaps you can change the port number that Exim listens on??

The default SMTP port is 25. Change it to something else like 26. Save your exim.conf file and restart Exim.

Do you really want to do that? It will mean that no one can send email to any address on the server.
