Exim not starting after installing custombuild plugin and making changes

Hey Guys,

My exim service wont start, last time this happened its because I edited it for clamav install when I didn't have to because I use custombuild 2.0

I recently installed custombuild plugin and changed up a ton of settings, its then I noticed that exim wasn't working.

If I press 'reload' in service monitor I get the following error
/usr/bin/systemctl reload exim.service 2>&1

Whats more, the custombuild plugin doesn't appear to be updating stuff correctly, I run the update process and it says its all successful and still prompts me to update the same things, but then says the files already exist.

Related to the above ive installed things such as ioncube loader and it doesn't acknowledge I have it, even though if I reinstall it says the files exist already. Clam should be installed but its services aren't in service monitor.

I have no idea what ive done wrong or whats going on, please help :)

May you attach a screenshot of available updates that do not disappear after updates? Please also attach the output of:

Sorry, I'm a bit of a noob, couldn't find how to add image properly, heres a link to an image hosting service I put it on

Also if I run those commands in ssh I get 'command not found' do I have to cd to a certain file for that?

I'm thinking it may be a problem in my options page as I just disabled clamav_exim which I believe isn't required in custombuild 2.0 but its still not working after reboot.

Hopefully we can figure out what the issue is :)

Comodo Modsecurity
awstats
exim
easy spam fighter
php 5.6
phpmyadmin

2.
I ran those commands in ssh and got 'command not found', is there a pre command to run this?
 
Hey,

As an update I just fiddled a bit more and got exim working. Now the only issue is 2 things not updating

comodo modsecurity rules from 0 - 1.56

and phpmyadmin from 4.0 to 4.5

Whats more ioncube is working now as softaculous is installing successfully.

Perhaps I jumped to panic mode without fully investigating it myself.

If you could still enlighten me as to why phpmyadmin wont update and mod security that would be great. I'm running apache as webserver, should I try nginx_apache instead?
 
Which OS is installed on the server? Would it be possible for me to check it directly on your server? (free of charge, you can submit login credentials to tickets.directadmin.com)
