Exim is trying an email delivery to root. You don't have a forward set up, and exim doesn't deliver to root. So the instance of exim attempting the delivery crashes.

It's actually normal, but it does indicate your'e not getting mail you should be getting.

I'm going to decline to answer because I believe the DA instructions here say to not create an aliases file for the server hostname.

So I'd say, "Ask DirectAdmin support".
