Hello,

Fresh installed FC9 machine with the license also set to FC9. I am rushing some websites over from a crashed server but not i discover that exim wont start. I tryed to find something to fix it but realy cant find it. This is the problem:

Starting exim: /usr/sbin/exim: error while loading shared libraries: libdb-4.5.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

and it doesnt start :/

Can anyone help me?

I have compat-db installed where the file libd-4.5 should be. I located it in /lib64/

There's no such release as FC9. It's now called "Fedora" and the current version is Fedora 9.

If you've got an Fedora 9 license then i presume you know it's for 32-bit only.

Are you running Fedora 9 32-bit or 64-bit? If you're running 64-bit Fedora presume that DirectAdmin won't run on it. If you're running 32-bit Fedora then obviously you can't use a 64-bit library.

I don't personally use Fedora, but hopefully someone who does will respond further.

Jeff
