Hi guys

I have just installed DA on a Ubuntu 10.04 LTS box. My SSH connection was interrupted once while trying to install, so i had to start over a second time.

Everything runs great now except exim. The log says:

2011-01-29 22:41:15 non-existent configuration file(s): /etc/exim.conf

Whats the best way to solve this problem?

Regards
Martin

FTP problem as well

Well, i seem to be having the same issue with proftpd as well. This service wont start either and the log says:

Unable to read log

Recommend you reinstall the OS and reninstallerer DA, I had the same problem before and other things may have been damaged too

Install the necessary packages such as gcc and g++ before DA installation.

Still issues with email even though i got exim running. I think i will follow your suggestion and reinstall both OS and DA. Will try Debian this time instead of Ubuntu and see if that runs any better.

Thanks!

Remember to use and work in screen, and none disconnect will ever break you anything.

Not sure, perhaps your license should be updated with change Ubunto onto Debian.

Not quite sure what you mean by "working in screen"?

I believe its the same license for Debian as Ubuntu? Correct me if i'm wrong though. Ubuntu is after all... pretty much Debian with some changes :)

Well i have reinstalled with Debian now and also installed DA.

Everything seems to be working great. I did not have to change anything on the license either.

Thanks for all replys!
