Exim question ref: mail / cat

I've never used Exim before and I have what is probably an embarrassing question -- Using sendmail and/or qmail I can:

cat filename |mail [email protected]

and out it goes. With Exim under DirectAdmin, I get a log entry showing that the address is unroutable. If I open pine and send a message to the same address out it goes.

I've read the Exim FAQ and done some googling but haven't been able to find reference to this issue. Can anyone with more Exim and DA experience shed some light on this for me?

Hmmn...might have STFW'd and found it at http://www.directadmin.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4984&highlight=unrouteable -- will report back if this is my solution or not.

Yeah, that was my solution:

wget -O /etc/exim.pl http://files.directadmin.com/services/exim.pl
chmod 755 /etc/exim.pl
service exim restart

My DA install was a fresh one as of last night. I'll add this to my "remember this" notes for any future DA installs.
