Hello,

Is it possible (and how) to create a rate limit rule that is only for hotmail domains (hotmail.com, live.com, outlook.com). Users have global send limits but hotmail has their own rules and blocking our ip address even if there is no spam. I want to limit users that are sending emails to hotmail domains. If a user has 200 sending limits per hour, they can send 200 emails but they can only send 10 emails per hour to hotmail.

As for information, all domains that are sending emails to hotmail addresses have SPF, DKIM configured and no other issues with other domains.

How can i do this with exim.

Thank you

Hello, we've already registered on SNDS (registered 4-5 years ago), nothing changed. Microsoft is a weird company.

Edit: Also the ip status on SNDS page shows "All of the specified IPs have normal status." and i've also checked the view data pages for email logs. I've attached the screenshot. No emails shown after 31 Oct. but our ip is blocked now. I've created a ticket for unblock but it is not nice dealing with these things.

I presume you then also registerd for JMPR also in there?
We also had a couple of times issues in the beginning. But when your server is not on any other blacklist and no spam is send, then you can deal with them stating them these facts, and that you are a member of both jmpr and snds and you did not receive any messages from jmpr or snds (if that is indeed true).
I experienced this will help to make things a bit more easy, because you normally should get messages from them, so if not then it's weird to get blacklisted and then it might mostly be due to a certain amount of send mails even due it's legit mails, or the dynamic spam filter.
For example we had some idiots which always put birthday messages from sites and forums to the spamfolder so servers got blacklisted.
