I had a problem with my emails and i followed the instructions from this topic : http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=16. And everything is solved now.Except one thing. I cannot send email from my main email account(eg. [email protected]) through webmail. I am getting this error : "login authenticator failed for localhost.localdomain"

The login for what I call linux accounts (such as email accounts that are the same as the user login and ftp login) is not [email protected], but rather just username.

I do not have login problems with this email account.My problem is that i cannot send emails.

More information required...

Do you have a problem with your local client or with webmail or both?

What's the manifestation of the problem? Does email appear to work but the email gets lost?

Or do you get some kind of error message?

Try tailing your log while sending a message:

# tail -f /var/log/exim/mainlog

while sending a message, to see any errors that might occur.
