A small and reasonable feature request that I, and probably many other would find useful.

when adding accounts, an option to enter an expiry date and a text field of the price the user will be required to pay on that date, when the date is close to expiry (i.e 1 month - to send an email to the reseller, administrator or both and also to the client to remind them of their upcoming payment/expiry) with the price value that was written in the textfield.

Why don't you purchase a billing system, then use the API?

IMHO, a control panel should be just a control panel.

And for those who don't want to pay for a billing system (a bad idea imho, but you may want or need to get by inexpensively) there should be some free options available as well; Google is your friend.

The reason I ask is not to be used as a billing system, as I work closely with my customers, they do not pay online or even use the web in some cases, it is more the idea of just having a personal reminder without all the hassle related with implementing other systems (and bugs of other systems), so a simple reminder would save a lot of hassle in some scenarios.

...not to be used as a billing system...
You might want to install an online invoice application or a CRM software.
Or, if you don't want to install anything, you can try Zoho. It's free and includes remote support, accounting software, CRM, invoice software and other apps that can cover almost any billing purposes and customer support.
DA can't do this job for you.

Hello,

Some time ago, I've done a plugin with the similar functionality. Please fell free to PM me if you still want it. I could write one for your personal purposes.

Hi, as i stated i do not need any kind of invoice or billing system, just a simple reminder, even if it were just a textbox that sends a reminder on the specific date like a cronjob for admins.......

@zEitEr: Hi, I will drop you a pm, if I had more time i would be interested to write plugins for DA but right now i have very little time on my hands. So i may be interested, thanks.

That feature you posted looks ideal, I will look into this.

As for the cronjob, it is easy, but if I add many accounts, to add many separate cronjobs would be a pain, so if I write a script for parsing a file or parsing the accounts which then check this added value it would be much easier/quicker for updating/adding new. I will take a look at this ASAP, if I run into any API problems i will post in the Scripting / API section.

Thanks again for the assistance.
