Hi

One of our client uses an external mail provider (google mail) for the mail services.
His DNS is also handled by external DNS in Network Solutions.
Everything is pointed to them perfectly and it's working fine.

But the problem I now have is that whenever a mail is created using a local php application, the mail gets send to current local server rather than to external google mail.

Is there anyway to go about this type of scenario?

1) At the admin level turn on DNS control for the user if it's not already turned on.

2) Login as user clock on MX Records, uncheck the box and click on Save.

3) Logout as user, and if you want to turn DNS control off for the user, do that.

Jeff,
And what will be, if a script will send email to this domain using php mail function? Will exim deliver it locally or send to google?

lkbryant,
You also need to remove a TXT record from your domain.
