Hello,

I have a problem with my directadmin.
I'm using my directadmin without any resellers or users.

I have one shared IP for all my domains but know I bought an another IP and I have added this new IP with 'admin' IP management.

But when I assign this new IP to one of my domains I get the following message:

Apache is functioning normally.

So I tried to make the IP shared because I want more domains on it but that gives me an error.
I have also tried to make a reseller and give him the additional IP but it says there are no additional IP's.

So can someone explain me how I can make the IP shared, how to assign to a domain and how I will not see the message: Apache is functioning normally?

Hello,

You can not share an IP which is marked as owned. Of course if you want to the IP be owned by one user with name admin, then it's OK and to avoid seeing 'Apache is functioning normally' message, you should update your DNS records for the domains to reflect your newly added IP.

Thank you for your reply.

I will try it with updating my DNS but now I can't assign an IP to a domain anymore.

When I go to user -> domain setup -> domain

I can't change the IP. Yesterday I had more options there

Do you know how this is possible?

Since that the user for domains of which you want to change IP must be having only one IP. Of course in this case you won't be able to choose another, specially if the second IP is marked as owned.
