Extracting Problem

I am running my website on MamboCMS and am trying to update it from version 4.6.2 to 4.6.5. Whenever I try to extract the patch though in the appropriate file I get this:

gzip: stdin: not in gzip format
/bin/tar: Child returned status 1
/bin/tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong or if I need to change something?

These errors simply show that your file (whatever it is) isn't gzipped. You need to see what the file is, and get the proper format, and manage it appropriately.

(Perhaps it's simply a notice that you didn't get the file, but rather an error.)
