fastcgi vs suphp

I'm really confused about suphp vs fcgid, both are supported with custombuild2 but they both has exact the same phpinfo() output,
How can I detect which one is running my websites now?
Also does fcgid has really better performance than suphp ?

suphp is end of life and you shouldnt use it. There will be no updates for it in the future.
