Feature: Push account into reseller

You mean 'upgrade'? .... There is currently a script to do that in DA-Scripts (somewhere on the forum ;))

Greeting,

Not exactly ;)

I am looking for an option to "push" an account into a reseller account. Ensim got that option when editing a site.

I hope it's easy to understand.

Do you mean to change the owner of the account?

Not sure what you mean :D

Do you mean convert a user to a reseller?

Or ...

Do you mean move a user from one reseller to another?

Jeff

It is simple.

I got a customer who want a reseller account. I created his account but he want to move 3 of his accounts into his reseller account. I'd like an option to push his 3 accounts into his account instead of in the "admin" account.

Thank you.

Using the DA User Tool, you can:
  1. Switch the type of his main account over to a reseller account
  2. Change the owner of the other accounts to his reseller account
[/list=1]Now all his extra accounts are owned by his reseller account.

change account owner

I would really like to know how to perform such an action as well. I got several accounts that needs to be moved under a reseller account instead of the main user.

So far the only way i could see would be to completely wipe out the accounts, log under the reseller account, and re-create all accounts, re-upload files, an re-create all databases.

That sounds like overkill, considering that cPanel has a function that allows admins to move websites from one reseller account to the other.

Let me know if i missed something.

I am using the latest version of Direct admin

Best regards.
Steve

Well i see DA Tools.

If i click on it it goes to a directory content with various files, no clue as of which one to use, and if it's a specific add on to be installed into Direct Admin, then again no clue as of which one to go with.

DA tools is a third-party add-on; search these forums for more information.
