For our name servers we use small VPS servers wich do not have a lot of RAM. And we of cource setup everything with DirectAdmin multiserver.
It would be great if there was a option in directadmin.conf or options.conf to disable everything except what is needed to run the DNS for a name server, so that we do not have to keep stuff like PHP and Apache etc, and also don't have to spend resources keeping them updated.
I am happy to pay the full license price also when only using it as a DNS server for a name server, I just don't want to have all the unnecessary stuff installed on our DNS only servers.
Please consider this feature request.
