(Feature Requests) Subdomain Document Root

Hi

i have a Feature Requests for subdomains is there a posibility to add Document Root selection to DirectAdmin same as cPanel (See link) becouse its a hassel to make a multimain

I just go to the domain administration page and I add another domain like "sub.domain.com".
So in this case the subdomain has it's own document root.
It can be maybe an issue if your account is limited in the amount of domains to create

Whenever I want to use a subdomain, I always create it as a new domain like wavoe says. I never use the 'subdomain' option as its indeed not nice to work with; paths, htaccess, if you want to move a site etc.

no i mean to change the document root from subdomain to the /domains/domain.tld/public_html

so as this

domain.tld /domains/domain.tld/public_html
sub.domain.tld /domains/domain.tld/public_html and not /domains/domain.tld/public_html/sub

You can add the subdomain as a new domain as stated above, and then go to Custom httpd configurations, click on the subdomain you just added and add the code as described in section 3a of the link below:

Surely you mean

domain.tld /domains/domain.tld/public_html
sub.domain.tld /domains/sub.domain.tld/public_html

Still, add it as a separate domain.... I, personally, am not a fan of this.
