Does DirectAdmin support Fedora Core 3? I have tried CentOS but I feel restricted by RedHat's slow release cycle. I like to be cutting edge when I install a server to put online....plus that's the whole motto of my corporation. We test and use stable but cutting edge servers.

Thanks,

I don't think this would be a problem as DA sees my Fedora Core 1 as RedHat 9, don't know if it sees Core 3 as RH9.

CentOS does have slow update releases by RedHat, but with Yum you will have a good alternative to update.

To each his own, Josh, but those of us who have been running servers for ten or more years have learned that stability over many years is a good thing.

The folk at Fedora themselves say it shouldn't be used on production servers, but maybe you know something about it they don't know.

The truth if we haven't even touched a Core 3 server yet so we don't know what problems there will be. However, we will gladly give demo licenses and help with the install if you are having any problems. That way you can give it a try without actually paying for it in case there are problems.

I can't see Core 3 having any issues that couldn't be fixed in a day or two.
