Please allow 2-character usernames in DA.
Cpanel allows it and it is good if DA allows; also solves migration issues.

Thanks.

More usefull then allow 2 char user, should be a conf line where choose the min char number per user creation, so, everyone will be able to set min and max chars per user

And what happens when updates override?
Why not just remove the limitation in general; that's why i post in "Feedback"

Afaik update never override directadmin.conf file...

So i am in directadmin.conf and i cannot find where to make this change to allow 2-character usernames.

Can you please give helpful details how to resolve this?

No, that feature doesnt exist, i was suggesting isntead of request min-2-char per user a variable in directadmin.conf where everyone can set how prefer the min-lenght and the max-lenght per username.

This featured doesnt exist, my was just a suggestion.

Sorry if i confused you.

Regards

Sorry to hijack the thread with off-topic stuff.

I forget if the CMD_DB_CREATE username field is meant to be limited in some way, as currently it can have unlimited characters, which normally spits out the 'too long' error. Granted, it'll be hard counting the characters before the _ (underline) beforehand.

Just curious.
