Few Questions

Hey I considering switching to DA and had a few questions:

1. For FTP, is the admin able to log into a user's ftp with the user's name and the admin's password?

2. What is the directory structure for subdomains? are the listed as a domain in /domains or is /domains/domain.com/subdomain or something esle?

Thanks

The admin user has access to the /home/username directory.
Other ftp accounts you create can be limited to different directories such as /home/username/domains/domain.com/public_html
To my knowledge, users can not login with the admin password since that would be a security problem. You need a direct match with a username and password. btw - why would you want to do this?

I think subdomains are stored in /home/username/domains/domain.com/public_html/subdomain

I don't know of any FTP daemon that allows that. have you come across it anywhere?

I believe ProFTP does that, but I'm really not sure.

Also, regrading the enhanced skin, are we legally allowed to change the header graphic and change the css styles to the skin?

If you can find that anywhere in proftpd documentation, please let us know. I just did some googling and can't find any references.

You may make any changes to the skins for your own use.
