I was wanting to find out if there is a way to restrict certain file types from being uploaded via the DirectAdmin File Manager. I know that this is possible through proftpd and have already set proftpd to restrict these file types. Please let me know if anyone knows of a way to restrict the file types in the file manager.

Not that I know of, but this would be a good feature request.
I think a similar feature to allow setting the types of file the File Manager was allowed to edit was also suggested, but nothing came of it as far as I am aware.
