Files uploaded to Public_html folder show on temporary url, but not on perm url. Near as I can figure from what my host told me in an email , I need to put those files in a folder in the "Domains" folder as it is the root directory.

I am unable to open that folder as it says I do not have permission. Nor can I create a folder with the correct path ie. "/domains/toughtrenches.com/public_html" .

Any ideas on how to create the correct folder in the correct directory?

Very frustrated that the site help pages are not even up to date as they show a "Move" function that does not seem to exist.

If your host really told you to upload files to the domains folder, then they're wrong. Are you sure they didn't tell you to upload files into the domains/EXAMPLE.COM/public_html directory (where you replace EXAMPLE.COM with your domaain name)? That would be correct.

Since your host could be using their own help files, we can't be sure you're using the DirectAdmin help files unless you post us the URL. More likely than the help files being outdated is that your host has chosen to not offer you all the available DirectAdmin options.
