Filetypes in an email

Hello, where can I find which filetypes allowed as attachments in an email. It seams that .pdf files are not allowed.

/etc/system_filter.exim

pdf is allowed by default. If pdf is being rejected then you need to post the error.

Thanks Floyd, there are no errors just a client claming that he ha not recieved an email containing a .pdf. He can recieve email with .gif and others from the same sender so he thought that it was a server problem of mine.
