finding old log

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a way or where i can find logs older then a month ?

A site on my server is hacked, and they started hacking in december.
The site got defaced 6 januari, but i can only find logs of januari.

So i'm trying to find the logs of december, or is that impossible ?

it works, but i'm getthing a huge list of files, and no logs i can use....

but thx anyway, logs are problebly cleaned out every month...
