Hi, i have many clients now, who are saying they can not access DirectAdmin.

Some of them do not even know what a firewall is. =/

Now, if they have no privilege to open up port 2222, are there no other alternative?

I think alot of companies also block unneeded ports like 2222 and they too can't access directadmin.

what do i then tell these people, that they cant use directadmin?

anyone here know a solution for this? this is starting to be a big problem for me because I have no answer to this problem.

Yes, several options have been discussed on these forums.

To change ports to one that isn't blocked, change the port= line in the /usr/local/directadmin/conf/directadmin.conf file, and then restart DirectAdmin.

However first check to make sure your users aren't being blocked; look here for more information.

thanks for the suggestions,

i used the proxy-da.php script and just created a subdomain and put it there for customers to go to, and it solved my problem. =D
