folder owner question

Hello
i'm struggling with problem long time and didnt fix it yet.

php user is apache, if i set the owner of the files and folders to apache the website works but ftp is not working (i get permission denied)
if i set it to admin, ftp works but some function in php dont work.

i need to change php user to admin (i think this would be the best) or if you have better solution i would like to know it.

any help please

Use PHP as CGi or apache module mod_ruid2 for solve your issue.

i didnt search for mod_ruid2, what does it do?? it changes php user?

Will let work apache as per user.

So, files uploaded by username "andrea" using an upload system on website will be owned no more from apache but directly by andrea.

Is also a security tip use mod_ruid2
