Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Dreamweaver won't connect to my site, lizinsogna.com either. directadmin support told me to delete my index and make a new one - and this was the result! I fear I did something wrong in the process - not sure what.
any suggestions?

You'll get this error when you don't have an index file in the proper directory.

Check again to make sure you've got index.html (or one of the other allowed index file types) in your public_html directory.

If you've got your own copy of DA you can do it either through FTP or by logging in through the shell.

If you're a customer of a company using DA for webhosting you can check it via ftp, but you may need your webhosting company's help.
