Forcing SSL, delays in redirect to HTTPS

If I set SSL=1 in /usr/local/directadmin/conf/directadmin.conf , there is a considerable delay time before the browser loads the HTTPS version of the login screen.

Is there anyway to make this happen instantly?

Never seen this happen before. Something else must be causing it.

On the servers that loaded slow, there were multiple instances of directadmin running.

Killing them all then starting it up fresh seems to have worked.

Ill have to monitor and see if the processes stack up again...
