DirectAdmin does syntax-checking on a destination email address when a forwarder is added, and rejects a destination address that contains certain characters such as +, =, !, ', and probably others, even if the destination address is valid according to the receiving site and according to the RFCs, and even if the local part of the destination address is put in double quotes.
The result is that DirectAdmin cannot forward email to some valid existing email addresses.
I hope the developers will consider fixing this. Syntax-checking of an email address should ideally be left to be done by the receiving site. This will ensure that DirectAdmin will correctly forward mail to every possible valid email address.
For the moment, if anybody knows of a work-around, please do let me know what it is. Thanks very much.

P.S. Is there any other place where this bug report should be sent, or is this the right place for it?
